"For just as the body is one and has many members, so it is with Christ." (1 Corinthians 12:12)

We believe that church membership is foundational to how the local church operates and thrives. Church membership gives members a meaningful ministry in their local church. Where they can covenant with other members to love one another, and care for one another.

Church membership also is a formal way of coming under the shepherding care the local church, and of its elders. When you become a member, you ensure that there are godly leaders in the church looking out for you, and accounting for you to God Himself.

If you would like to become a member of James River Community Church, the process is simple.
