Jesus Cleanses the Temple
Luke 19:45-48

Great Is Thy Faithfulness
Stricken, Smitten, and Afflicted
There Is a Fountain Filled with Blood
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
It Is Well with My Soul

Preaching, Prayer, and Popsicles
June 12th, 5pm

Come out to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk with us on Saturday, June 12th for Preaching, Prayer, and Popsicles!  We will meet at Neptune's Park around 31st Street on the boardwalk at 5pm.  There is a playground for kids nearby and lots of people to talk to.  We're going to set up a Prayer Station and we'll have free popsicles to hand out along with Gospel tracts for whoever would like them.  If you are interested, please contact Jason Sleichter or Chris Jones. Please come, even if it's just to hang out with friends from church at the beach and get some ice cream!  You never know what God might do when you reach out to others with His truth and love!

Now that restrictions are being lifted, we are excited to begin having snacks together after our corporate worship service on Sundays.  And we need people to help with preparing food and cleaning up afterward.  If you'd like to volunteer, you can sign up here.  Contact Jan Pruden for more details (757-775-5710,

Member Meeting
July 11

Our member meetings are typically on the evening of the first Sunday of the month.  But in July, we will meet together as members on the evening of July 11 instead (so that people can celebrate the Fourth of July).

Vacation Bible School
July 16-17th

Get ready for VBS! JRCC will be hosting a games-themed VBS. There will be singing, teaching and games!  We are going to dive into what it means to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:17). We will need volunteers for preparing food, leading small groups, leading games, and working the nursery. Please let Penny Sleichter know if you plan to attend and if you can volunteer. We are planning a date to go out and invite the neighborhood. More details to come!

Women's Weekend
September 17-18

Ladies, mark your calendars! We are planning a weekend of women's fellowship! Our goal is to explore our biblical role in each others' lives as members of one body. We also want to reconnect in meaningful ways after a long season of isolation.  More details to come.
