Corporate Worship Service
Our corporate worship service will be on Sunday morning at 11am - both in person, and online. For those joining us in person, you can read about the precautions that we are taking, and also watch the service live or later at your convenience via our website -

All Other Physical Meetings Cancelled
In an effort to limit our physical contact, all other physical meetings and services (Small Groups, Sunday School) remain canceled until further notice. We will resume them as soon as it is safe to do so. We recently added Children's Church for ages 4-7 during the regular service with safety measures in place. For more information on Small Groups meeting via Zoom, visit the Small Groups Page on our website.

CAPS Fundraiser - BBQ and Fried Chicken by Captain Bob's - Sunday, September 20, 2020
You can still purchase tickets or drive through the day of the event to support CAPS! Thank you to all who supported by buying tickets and donating meals for first responders in our city!

Request from CAPS
One of CAPS' recent clients, a couple living in Chuckatuck Square Apartments right in the center of Chuckatuck on Rt. 10, would like to attend our church but they do not have transportation. If you would like to minister to this couple by bringing them to church on Sunday, contact Jan Pruden at 757-775-5710 for details.

Ebenezer UMC Food Bank
Continue to bring your non-perishable items for the food bank at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. A container will be available on Sundays for collecting donations. Since children are out of school, kid-friendly items are appreciated.

Missions Update

Street Evangelism - Chris Jones and Jason Sleichter
The summer beach season has ended and we have had the privilege of spreading the Gospel through tracts, conversations, and open-air preaching most weekends this season at the Virginia Beach oceanfront.  Please pray that God would use our efforts to change many hearts.  Pray also that the Lord would open more doors in public ministry as many city-sponsored events will likely be cancelled this year due to the Corona virus.  Finally, please pray about and consider getting trained and involved in this ministry yourself!  The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
