This Sunday, we will hear from Romand 14:13-23.

Last week, in 14:1-12, Paul established that Christians with should love one another, even when they don’t agree on disputable mattes.  Those with more restrictive consciences should not pass judgment on others, but should let them enjoy their freedoms.  And those with more permissive consciences should not despise others, but should give them space to practice discipline.

This week, Paul continues his argument.  He says that those with more permissive consciences should be careful with how and when they enjoy their freedoms.  They must be careful to love their neighbor, and listen to their conscience, and look out for their public reputation.
