This Sunday, we will continue our journey through Romans, looking at Romans 6:1-14.

In it, Paul addresses a pressing question.  Having just established that those who trust in Christ are secure in their faith, and that they can have assurance that God will save them - he anticipates a potential objection.  “What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?”

In other words - if we are saved by grace, and if we cannot lose our salvation, then why shouldn’t we just do whatever we want?  What is stopping us from living however we want to live, and throwing ourselves into unrepentant sin, since God is going to save us by his grace anyway?

We will deal with that question together on Sunday.
