This Sunday, we will continue our Advent sermon series, working through the first chapter of Mark.  Specifically, we will hear from Mark 1:9-11.

In it, Jesus is baptized by his cousin John.  And he is affirmed verbally by the Father, as the Spirit descends on him like a dove.

We will consider why Jesus was baptized.  And we will consider the respective roles and ministries of the three members of the Trinity - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
