This Sunday, we will continue our journey through Matthew 1-2, looking at Matthew 2:13-18.  In it, Mary and Joseph are forced to flee to Egypt, because Herod has ordered that all boys under 2 years old in Bethlehem he killed.

We will consider how Jesus came into this world - as a humble child in a poor family, who had to flee persecution as refugees.  We will also consider how Jesus serves as the new Israel - called by God to be a blessing to the world, so that his people might be saved.
