Last week, we began our 8 week sermon series through the book of Joel. And, as we found out, Joel isn’t the most fun and light-hearted book in the Bible, by any means.

We saw Joel instruct us to understand the significance and the severity of our situation. And to respond appropriately – to let our demeanor match our circumstances.

This week, we’ll be in Joel 1:13-20. (Read it this week if you can!) We’ll see how to proceed from there. As Christians, we are not only called to realize the severity of our situation, and to mourn it (as we saw in Joel 1:1-12). We are called to repent. And to look to Jesus. And to cry out to Him.
