If you’ve been attending James River Community Church as of late, then hopefully, the main themes of the book of Ephesians are starting to come into focus for you.

For a month and a half, we worked through Ephesians 1-3, and looked at Paul’s doctrine. Doctrine of God, man, Christ, salvation, the church, and more.

And then, for the past two weeks, we’ve seen how Paul exhorts his readers to work out that doctrine in their spiritual community. Loving their neighbor, serving, growing, and pursuing holiness in areas like speech, work, anger, and more.

This week, we’ll be in Ephesians 5:1-21, where Paul will continue on this same theme. How to apply the gospel, and live in a manner worthy of it. We will continue to look at how to love our neighbors, and repent of sin. And look at some underlying reasons why we should.

See you on Sunday!
