This Sunday, we will hear from Psalm 142 - a psalm that David wrote when he was hiding in a cave.  In it, he articulates the urgency of his situation - that he has been targeted by his enemies, and abandoned by his friends.  And he cries out to the Lord for mercy, trusting him to hear his prayer, and deliver him, and be gracious to him.
