This Sunday, we will hear from 2 Thessalonians 1:5-12.  In it, Paul (and his co-authors) anticipate how God is going to bring sovereign judgment against sin and sinners, and save his people from their affliction, when Jesus finally does return from heaven.  In the meantime, he prays that the Thessalonians would live a life that is worthy of the calling that they have received, so that God’s name would be glorified.
