This Sunday, we will continue our journey through the book of Isaiah.  We will be looking specifically at Isaiah 36-39, which represents an interlude, that functions as a transition between first half of the book (chapters 1-35) and the second half (40-66).

In it, we see the story of King Hezekiah, and his dealings with the army of Assyria, and the grace of God to deliver him.  We see Hezekiah become gravely ill, only to see the Lord spare his life.  Finally, we see Hezekiah’s dealings with the nation of Babylon, and the prophecy of God’s coming judgment as a result of it.
