This Sunday, we will examine Luke 8:16-18. Where Jesus continues His teaching about how to respond to the Word of God.

We’ll see that God does, in fact, finish what He starts. He set out to save His people, and judge sin, and make all things right, and bring the universe back into how He intended it to be. And He will accomplish it.

And, in light of that reality, God calls us to respond rightly to His Word. To position ourselves such that we will be the recipients of God’s grace and mercy, rather than His wrath and judgment.
