This Sunday, we will hear from Luke 18:1-8 - the parable of the persistent widow.  Jesus tells the story of an unjust judge, who has a widow come before him repeatedly asking for justice.  He ignores her over and over again.  But eventually, because of her persistence, he hears her case, and gives her a just ruling.

Jesus uses the story to illustrate the heart of God - how he loves his children, and delights to hear and answer their prayers.  And to exhort his people to be faithful, diligent, and persistent in prayer.
