This Sunday, we will continue our journey through the book of Isaiah, hearing from chapters 28-35.  In it, God rebukes Jerusalem’s leaders for turning to Egypt, and seeking an alliance with them, to protect them from the threat from Assyria.  And he warns them of judgment that they will experience as a result of trusting in human alliances, rather than trusting in God.
