How would you articulate the main theme of this psalm?

What does David mean when he says, "My soul thirsts for you" and "My flesh faints for you"?  (63:1)  How can we relate to this kind of spiritual yearning in our own lives?

In what ways do you personally experience a longing or thirst for God, and how do you satisfy that thirst in a spiritual sense?

How does understanding God’s love as "better than life" (63:3) change the way we view our priorities and our relationship with Him?

What does it mean to find our satisfaction in God?  (Psalm 63:5) How does that compare to seeking satisfaction in other things, like success, relationships, or material possessions?  How does Psalm 63 help reorient our hearts to seek God's presence as our primary source of joy and fulfillment?

David reflects on God's faithfulness during past times and how this strengthens his trust in God now.  (63:6-8)  Why is it important to look back and remember God's past faithfulness in our own spiritual journey?
