CAPS / Suffolk Winter Shelter
Thank you for providing meals for guests experiencing homelessness!  We provided over 500 meals over the course of 7 days. The real story to celebrate is how these guests experienced the love of Jesus in such a practical way!  Thank you for showing up and participating and loving our neighbors.  Please continue to pray for these guests - that they would find permanent housing, and that they would trust in Jesus.

Update - Consortium Effort to reach an Unreached, Unengaged People Group
The work the consortium is doing to reach the unreached unengaged people of Chad is reminiscent of Romans 15:20-21, which says "I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has been named, lest I build on someone else's foundation, but as it is written, 'Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand.'"  The team continues to work towards engaging and reaching 5 people groups in Chad with the gospel - the Barma, Alwa, Ndam, Mobue, and Gadang.

A trip to Chad was made recently by some from the consortium to train leaders in disciple making movement training so they can go reach more people.  Simultaneously, God orchestrated a trip by FirstCoach. In to Chad to do basketball ministry - 25 basketball coaches responded to the gospel and came to Christ.  It is the hope that these coaches will be mobilized to reach people as well.  Praise the Lord for how He is working in Chad!
