This week, we will begin a new sermon series through the book of Lamentations. The book is 5 chapters – 5 poems that were written as a response to watching Babylon’s destruction of the city of Jerusalem. This will take us through the rest of Lent – right up to Easter Sunday. We’ll consider the severity of sin, the holiness of God, the role of lament in the Christian life, and the hope that we have for redemption in Christ.

This Sunday, in particular, we will be in Lamentations 1. Looking at the reality of sin and suffering. And God’s sovereignty over sin and suffering.

See you there.
