Who is the “man of lawlessness” (2 Thessalonians 2:3)?  Who is it that is restraining him (2 Thessalonians 2:6)?

Read Isaiah 14:12-14.  Describe the heart posture that we see on display in this text.  If that describes Satan’s initial rebellion against God, what are the consequences that come from it (Revelation 12:9)?

What are some of the ways that we are “at war” with Satan and his seed?  (Genesis 3:15, Exodus 17:14-16)

Scripture shows a picture of humanity at war with God, seeking to take his throne for themselves (Psalm 2, Revelation 11:15, Revelation 20:7-10).  How is this war for the throne manifested in our current cultural moment?

We cannot know the timing of Christ’s return (Matthew 24:36).  Nevertheless, Scripture gives us a number of signs that indicate that it is approaching (Matthew 24:3-14).  Are any of these signs visible to us today?

How can we, as followers of Christ, seek to be faithful in the midst of our increasingly turbulent times?
