When you think about (or talk about) money, what are some of the emotions that you feel in your soul? (Fear, anxiety, embarrassment, inadequacy, pride, resentment, jealousy, settledness, contentment, discontent, etc.) Why?

This man’s request seems reasonable enough (12:13). Why do you think that Jesus responds the way that he does (12:14)?

Why is covetousness such a dangerous sin, that Jesus warns against it in this way (12:15)?

Why does God call this man in the parable (12:16-20) a fool? What does he do that is so foolish?

How does this parable speak to:
