Member Meeting
Sunday, September 5, 6pm

We gather on the evening of the first Sunday of each month to pray together and handle family business.  If you're a member, please make it a point to come.  If you're thinking about becoming a member, you are welcome to join us!  (Let us know if you need us to make arrangements for you to participate via Zoom.)

3-5 Grade Small Group
A new Pre-teen small group for 3rd-5th graders will begin September 12th from 10:00-10:45am each Sunday morning. Please see Jason or Penny Sleichter for more information!

Welcome to James River Class
Beginning September 12, we will have a recurring class on Sundays at 10am to help new people get to know JRCC.  We will walk through JRCC's statement of faith, JRCC's disctinctives, JRCC's history, and why church membership matters.
If you'd like to learn more about our church, please make it a point to join us for it!

Women's Weekend
Friday, Sept 17: 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Saturday, Sept 18: 8:30 am – 2:00 pm
@ James River Community Church

After a season of isolation, now more than ever we see why God has called us to live in community with one another.  Our time will be focused on connection with each other and exploring our calling to discipleship.  We will have times of small group discussion, fellowship over food, a craft, and opportunity to brainstorm the vision for women’s ministry at JRCC.
Please follow this link to RSVP and let us know you are coming. We would love to see you all there!

Fall Picnic
September 26

We are planning a fall picnic for our friends and community on September 26 (with a backup/rain date of October 3).  We need your help!  We need people to lead and be responsible for the following areas:
- Food preparation and service
- Advertising to the community (signs, Facebook posts, tickets, etc)
- Setup and Tear Down  (tables, chairs, games, etc)
- Decorations

Let Jason Sleichter know if you are interested.
