Missionary Update

Coalition Against Poverty in Suffolk
The CAPS office is currently open responding to calls for assistance, performing client interviews, vetting needs, and providing assistance to those who qualify.

Pray for the office staff (Mary Sue, Jan, and Hannah).  It can be difficult to try and help people in crisis with limited funds.

Pray for the CAPS leadership board.  They are shorthanded, and need people with a heart for those suffering from poverty to step forward and join them.  Pray that God would give them wisdom, and that they would hear and follow his guidance.

Pray for more churches to come along side of CAPS and join our fight to alleviate poverty. (There are over 120 churches in the area, and only 24 of them are CAPS members.)

Urban Discovery Ministries
Watch an update from their president, Mike Farris.  Pray that the Lord would continue to raise up leaders who will proclaim the gospel in Norfolk, and around the world.
